'08 LR2 Coolant Flush
Is there a drain plug on the radiator to drain the coolant? Otherwise I suppose I could try to remove the lower radiator hose, but its smashed in there and seems pretty inaccessible. It also appears I'd have to remove the front end in order to place a receptacle underneath it to catch the fluid. There must be an easier way, any help would be greatly appreciated.

So obviously there's no RAVE with the LR2, but I recently discovered ALLDATAdiy.com Leading Source of Factory Automotive Repair Information, which, while not nearly as good as the RAVE is for D II's, is still helpful.
The problem with the LR2 is that the engine compartment is very cramped and there's no radiator drain plug or any room to remove either the upper or lower radiator hoses if you want to drain the coolant. The only solution is to put the car on a hydraulic lift and loosen the radiator drain tap, which is tucked way under the car. I've attached a few images of the drain tap so that future DIY'ers can see where its located. Its made to have a hose attached to it, and then loosened so that you can cleanly collect the fluid. Be careful, the tap should only be tightened to 7nM
