I should've known there'd be other addicts here. PPSEL with around 800 hours and an aerobatic endorsement. I owned a beautiful Cessna 182 for 20 years and just sold it because I moved from CO to VA in 2020 and couldn't fly it as often as I like.

Wanted to go the commercial route but back in the late 90's it just wasn't feasible. It all worked out though. I love what I do now and retirement is in the headlights if I use my high beams.

I only have tailwheel and high perf endorsements but no aerobatics. I'm allergic to making holes in the ground. 🤣 We're not addicts, we're masochists trained in the fine art of turning large piles of money into little ones. Some day we should all meet to trade flying stories. I have a few, like the one where I helped ferry a Stinson 108 rebuilt by a non-mechanic from Cordoba, Argentina, to Buenos Aires. Four legs, losing a quart of oil on each one. Thank goodness Argentina is one big honkin' grass runway studded with bovine claymores. On the last leg someone forgot to tell me the chart said the airport was lighted but they had no money for bulbs (!!) and the runway had turned into a rather large mud pit. Fricking 450 degree ground loop, my one and only. LOL!
