Exclamation 2012 LR2 tail light wiring colors/functions

Hello all, really need some help here. I'm hooking up a trailer to the 2012 LR2 and I must splice the four colored wires in the wiring kit (green, brown, yellow and white) into the vehicle tail light wires. I cannot find info on which vehicle side harness wires I splice into. There are 6 wires there of different colors (purple w/green stripe, gray w/orange stripe, brown w/green stripe, green w/white stripe, gray w/brown stripe, and heavier gauge black w/gray stripe). All I need is to identify the vehicle tail light harness wire colors to functions and I can do the rest. Many, many thanks!

Default Tail light / trailer tow - DIY

Do a search for trailer hitch wiring in this forum and you will find plenty of discussion. Very difficult do it yourself project… Since the lighting controller will need programming.

There is a plug and play module in the trunk area, facing it, left side trunk panel. It will have to be removed and there is a gomet through the floor as well. The best system are British made but you will have to get a 7 or 13 pin conversion to US 4 pin. If you go over to freel2.com or powerfulUK.com there maybe a video?
I bought my 7 pin from PF Jones in the UK and the US conversion adapter here:

It's likely a lot cheaper to take it to a local trailer shop but my setup's great. Now, you technically will have to program the vehicle with JLR SDD to tell it there is a trailer harness now installed, but the only thing it really does is turn off the rear object sensors when you are reversing with the trailer. The beeping will continue until you take it out of reverse.
