Default 48,000 mile scheduled service

I called my dealership today to schedule an oil change. The service rep said I was due for a 48,000 miles service but couldn't tell me what it included. I'm waiting for my regular service rep to call me back.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what this includes and what to expect to pay. This dealership is known to charge higher than typical prices and I only go in for oil when I have a coupon.

Thanks

Default LR2 Maintenance Schedule

I'm attaching the standard maintenance schedule for a 2008 LR2. I don't know if it's different for later years. Hope this helps.

Did you end up going to the dealer and do you mind letting us know what it cost $$ ? Thanks!

Take the list to a trusted independent mechanic and get a quote. The dealer doesn' t have to do this.

In addition to the LR scheduled items, I would do do these items also at least every 50K...

Tranny fluid
PTU Fluid (front transfer case)
Rear Diff Fluid
AOC (Haldex) Fluid, filter, and clean pump filter)
Power steering fluid, also replace the PS reservoir since it has a built-in filter
Spark Plugs

Many of these items are scheduled by Volvo for the same power-train, while LR just expects you to buy new differentials, etc instead of changing the fluid. All of these items will cause expensive failures if not addressed.
