Default Blackberry 8310 pairing with LR2

I have a problem pairing my Blackberry 8310 (ATT) with my LR2. I have downloaded the RIM update and when attempting to pair I get the prompt on the BBerry "Enter numeric passkey for MY Car:" No number appears on the LR2 screen and the message "No phone found" appears. Any insights or assistance? Thanks.

What is the RIM update ? I have the same problem with my cell and waiting for the upgrade.
It works fine, but doesn't disconnect always.

Don't know what update you looked at but saw this post by RMJones in another post and it worked like a charm on my 8310. On your blackberry go to http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/searc...rnalId=KB14152.

I know it's long to type in your BB but it worked like a champ. Just follow the download instructions and launch the app on your blackberry when doing a search on the LR2. Should only take about 5 min.

ok your lr2 needs the new software update for the cell phone module, right now as you stand the vehicle is searching for the phone when it should be the other way around the phone should be looking for the vehicle to pair and the number your suppost to pair with is 2121
