Buying Question
Hi. I'm new to the site and hopefully posting this in right spot.
Anyway im looking at a 2008 LR2 SE. Its fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. about 54,000 miles and one owner. Its going for around $19,000.
Im just wondering if they are Reliable, High Miles?, And Good Price. Also if they are known to have many problems. i already know land rovers are one of the most unreliable cars out but im willing to look past that. Any Help greatly appreciated. thanks!

No problems with mine, same year and same mileage as the one you're looking at. Some of them have had rear differential bearing issues, well covered here, but I think that's a minority of owners. It's about a $700 fix at the stealership if it happens to you.
With modern vehicles, I don't think any are patently unreliable. In the rankings, the number of reported issues between the "best" and "worst" aren't all that different. It isn't a huge gap. The LR2 is Landie's most reliable model out now. (We'll see how the Evoque does...).
I'd get him down to $18K and buy it, contingent on a mechanic giving it a once-over.
