Interesting! I use an auto start 60% of the time, especially during the winter time. I'll give this a shot.

 

So I tried this and it's above zero celsius right now. If you follow the key in ignition, press and hold start button until dashboard lights up, WAIT until the airbag light goes out and then foot on brake (clutch) then press the start button again, the vehicle starts much more effortlessly. And I have a new battery. Will let you know how this works at -20C

 

There is a valid electrical engineering basis for this.

I cringe when people throw all the switches on in airplanes too.

 

I think the motormouth is looking for YouTube likes.

 

All one has to do is test it first, I did!
