Question How to replace broken Moonroof bracket

Hi all.

I have a 2010 LR2. The Moonroof rear bracket rusted and broke off on the passenger rear of the car. Right now the window wont close.

I have the new part but have no idea how to swap it out.

I have brought it to 5 different auto shops (Autobody, Mechanics, glass specialists) and no one will fix it for me.

I could go to the dealer but that will break the bank presumably.

Does anyone know how to change this bracket? I couldn't find any info in the service manual either.

Here is a photo

Thank you.

You might have to check videos and forum posts for a different vehicle and use those instructions as a guide to figure out the LR2. Check Volvo first as that has the chance of being most similar.

You will have to check the part that the bracket attaches to since it looks like that is the part that caused the damage.

Why assume the dealer is any more expensive than those who turned you down? And it will be done right and have a 1 year warranty, (if its an oem part).
LR has a guidebook and experience.
