Default Window rattling?

Got a rattling noise in the right rear passenger door. I thought something was loose because the noise increases with speed but now, believe it or not, I found the noise decreases if I lower the window all the way down and raise it? This is another one of those "What in the wide, wide world of sports is a-goin' on here! I hired you people to try to get a little track laid, not to jump around like a bunch of Kansas City f..." moments. Err. Ok, before I get carried away with that line... (I miss Slim Pickens.)

Turns out it was not in the window. The fender trim molding has worn to the point it got loose, and airflow was getting into the fender and back into the rest of the underside of the vehicle, causing all that noise. Now I just have to buy a roll of fender trim molding but I can't find it in plain back, just fake "carbon fiber" and chrome. <sigh>

The trim or gasket on the fender lip itself? DS or PS front? I believe, if it the trim/gasket air intake side it's a special design to keep air and debris from the intake.

No, it's the fender lip trim molding. I just ordered it on eBay.

Pretty amazing that an obscure item like this molding is so easily found on eBay. How did we ever get along before eBay?

BTW, this is where I got that piece of trim molding. They have a bunch of other LR2 parts at reasonable prices.
