Congrats.
Also have '06 HSE. So far no real issues. Bought it the end of Feb.

Guy in our club took his stock on our rausch creek trip in July , these are insane stock, did pretty much everything my modded d1 did, they could use some ride height though for big rocks

We will not be wheeling this hard its wife's new daily driver

Only down side is noise from engine, I have not heard it, they claim no one has looked at it they just bought a new vehicle instead of bothering guess if you are paying for repairs they get big fast, hoping it is just the variable valve crap if not I will be doing an engine

What we paid vs book it's worth it to me to fix it

Top of the line. It goes Base, SE, and then HSE.

Interesting.
That is one thing that amazed me with ours, the engine is the quietest I have ever heard. You can stand right next to the vehicle and barely tell it is running.

Like I said hoping something stupid but expecting the worst

I have heard Chevy aluminum that sounded like a bad rod knock that was just water pump bearings gone bad, not saying this the case but I can always hope for an easy fix

It arrived

Runs and drives frigging filthy inside

Engine noise sounds like its coming from timing cover/pass valve cover

Oil is full no coolant in it no metal particles in it, there is no oil in coolant either, batt is dead so I am guessing that's why its surging 5-800 rpm

Turn it off and electrical goes nuts after a few minutes flashing lights doors lock and unlock, seems to not like a dead battery so had to disconnect to charge it

When running there were no idiot lights on nav works, everything seems to work except rear wiper sounds like the motor has a stripped gear

There are a handful of little things missing

Well, so much for the "maintained" part I guess. Never-the-less, good luck to you Tom. I think you will love it once you have it sorted.

Yeah I have a feeling oil changes and brake pads are about the extent of maintenance

Though the suspension did pump up so I am hoping they had the dealer replace the pump like they stated

Either way it was cheap knowing works needed, I would be livid if I payed 12k+ expecting to drive one and it broke down expensive soon after purchase

Fyi, I got a center cap from a 16" d2 wheel, it fits the lr3 wheels we have
