Advice on a LR3

My personal choice was in this order:
Range Rover Sport SC
Audi Q7 Quattro
LR3 (only because I have the D2)
Mercedes R320
BMW X5
The RR at our price range would have too many miles. Found a Q7Quattro for $25K OBO with 67K. The negative was they felt heavy and slow. Most of the LR3's had too many miles averaging about 70K+. The R320 originally started as the R350 until I read up on the Diesel. Finally the BMW X5 reminded me too much of a tall car with more headroom. I'd rather have a four door 5 series car.
Ranking MPG (best to worst) with the note that diesel will cost more per gallon.
R320 CDI
BMW X3 4.4l/ RR Sport close to even
Q7
LR3
