thank you all for this post. I really appreciate all the findings about it. I called dealership and they wanted to run diags. I am going to focus on alternater and battery and will post if my issue is also resolved with it. Thank u all!!!

Adding to Savannah Buzz's suggestion about readers (which I totally agree with). I would recommend the Gap IId Tool for anyone with a LR3 as another suggestion to the ones he had suggested. It is gold in hand with one of these "smart" cars.
