Default BODY ARMOR

HAS ANYONE TRIED TO MAKE PROTECTIVE SHEETS TO COVER THE SHEET METAL FOR GOING OFF ROAD MADE OUT OF A MAGNETIC VINYL
I HAVE SEEN IT FOR JEEPS AND HUMMERS N SUCH. COULD NOT FIND ANY PRE CUT FOR THE LR3 SO I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO MAKE MY OWN SO WHEN I GO OUT IN THE BUSH I DOT GET THE VEHICLE ALL SCRATCHED UP.
IS THEIR ANY INTEREST FOR A PRODUCT LIKE THIS FOR OTHER LR3 OWNERS IF SO LET ME KNOW. AND I WILL POST PICS OR A LINK TO PICS. IF IT IS NOT TO BAD I WOULD MAKE SOME FOR OTHERS AS WELL.
I AM GOING TO USE .030 THICKNESS AND IS 2' X 50' ROLL LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE AROUND 200-250 INTO IT AT THE MOST.

THE CRAP IS SUPPOSED TO BE HEAVY
ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I too would be interested in seeing the final result. Sounds very intriguing.
Are you still attaching magnetically?
