Default Buying an LR3

Thinking of buying an LR3. It is a 2008 with 50,000 miles. It is the G4 edition. Any recommendations or any things I should know or keep in mind.

That's going to be great fun out there.

I would insist on seeing all the service records. Is this from a dealer or an individual.

oh, ok... I say that vehicle at the Austin dealership... it looks nice. You should be in good shape, of course there will be some PM you should consider, like change the diff oils, and so on.

Are you a member of texasrovers?

Did you end up buying this? I saw they took down the auction off of eBay. If it were closer I might have went for it myself.

BTW, did it have any of the factory warranty remaining?

I did get an LR3 but not the one at the Austin dealer. I purchased mine in San Antonio. I am not a member of Texas Rovers but would like to become one.

The G4 is still for sale in Austin. It has 11000 miles on it, but they want 50 grand. I got a G4 that was for sale in San Antonio at a non-Land Rover dealership but the previous owners had all the G4 logos removed. The only way to tell it is a G4 is the metal plaque on the gearshift. Good luck with your search.

I gave them a ring and apparently they did sell it last week. If it were a week later I'd be flying down and driving that thing home... Oh well.
