Diagnostic tool

Has anyone used this before. Your feedback is appreciated. Or should I just stick to iid tool? It is under $200 too. http://www.icarsoft.com/web/icarsoft...19c3j2t_1.html

I just pulled the trigger on one for $137 USD on eBay.
Shipping from Portland OR so hopefully it'll be here soon. I'll report back once I get it.
The description wasn't terribly specific about accessing the EAS codes but some of the videos indicate it's there.
Since I don't anticipate the need to program anything on the LR3 I'm hopeful this can help with codes and diagnostic.

That's a phenomenal idea IMO. I bought some cheap-o, $50 diagnostic tool from Advanced Auto, does just what I need it to: gives me codes so I can look them up and then throw parts at the problem! Hasn't failed me yet.

I don't own lr3, but saw this posted on Craigslist, been on there for a little while and he reduced the price to 300.00.

I picked up an icarsoft reader last year, same one you are looking at it. Another poster had it pretty much spot on. While I knew I couldn't change any settings like the more advanced IID tools and the like, it can get pretty deep into the LR computer to read error codes which the generic scanners can't. So its a big help in pointing you in the direction of the problem. Its cheap money for what it can tell you.
