Which front end component would cause only the Left Front Camber to be out of spec?
2006 LR3 165k miles
Just had the truck alignment done and was told the left front is at max.
Control arm was done a year ago with OE bushings.
Could the ball joint be bad? Wheel bearing?
Rear upper control arms were just done which is why I needed an alignment.
The truck drives fine on new tires.
The last set of tires were roached at less than 20k miles and showed uneven wear.
Only caber adjustment is in the lower bushes so if its at the maximum there must be wear or other components that are bent/ damaged.
A friend of mine copped a large hit in the front left wheel area of her D4 and when we were fixing it which included a new track rod ,we found that the hub carrier was bent by about 1"/25mm which meant the tyre hit the upper arm and camber was beyond adjustment. The ford focus that hit her had the front pushed right back almost to the bottom of the windscreen and the disco was able to be driven onto the flat bed.
Thanks for the info. The tire store guy had no clue.
Last year the left side lower control arm snapped while off roading and I had to drive it home.
I'm thinking the initial impact may have damaged some other component.
Probably need to check the hub carrier.

Are they poly urethane bushes ? , big no no on these cars which is what likely caused the above breakage - too much stress on the mounts and arms.
