Front Runner Slimline II Half Rack
Greetings,
Does anyone have information/experience regarding the Front Runner Slimline II Half Rack for the Land Rover LR3.
Specific questions are:
1.) Wind noise with the half rack?
2.) Does it clear the antenna pod/fin on the top of the vehicle?
3.) How well built does the rack seem?
4.) Customer Service experiences?
Appreciate any feedback.
Thank You.

Can't attest to question #1 since I have the full rack, but:
2) Yes, it is built to just clear the antenna pod/fin
3) The rack is very well built as are all of their products. Great quality.
4) Great customer experience here in the US. Tina and Steve have answered all of my questions and been very willing to help me when I needed extra assistance.
I like my rack a lot, but the full rack does have a fair amount of wind noise.

Half rack
I have the half rack and the Jerrycan mount attached to the right rear. I do not notice any wind noise until reaching highway speeds and then the A pillars are louder than the rack.
The rack clears the antenna, but will reduce performance so if you use the sat radio, you may have problems. I had a cell phone signal booster that was running through the factory cell phone antenna, but had to add a cell phone antenna infront of the sunroof to get the rural area cell phone performance back.
One item to mention, I had the factory rails that needed to be removed (6 bolts) but found there was a gap at the end of the weather strip running forward toward the windshield. I decided to fill the gap with RTTV silicone prior to installing the rack.
I am very happy with the half rack. As stated before, good quality parts, great customer service here in the US
