Default Just bought my daughter a pristine 2007 LR3!

So I picked up this beautiful white LR3 HSE for $10K cash for my new driver. I wanted something built like a tank so that if/when she has a collision, she will walk away. The LR3 checks that box. It has 120,000 miles and I am astounded at its condition:

- Every record since new, including all new brakes/rotors a year ago plus a compressor replacement for the air suspension about 18 months ago
- 1 owner

- Not even a scratch or blemish on the exterior. Somehow even the black trim pieces including the rear bumper aren't faded.
- 20 inch Redbourne wheels
- The seats and interior are in amazing condition. Not a single flaw that I can find.

I am astounded that $10K buys this vehicle. I drove it from Phoenix to Amarillo, TX - about 700 miles - without stopping except for refuel. Never missed a beat. No warning lights, no issues.

True, my daughter has laid claim to my LR3 and it will be filled with spray foam limiting it's use to the drivers seat only

I'm still astounded that I bought this car for $10K. A year from now, I may have spent another $10K on it.

She is fortunate that he has a parent that is wise enough to buy a vehicle to keep her safe, and that looks like new for a great price. My '07 is my best vehicle so far.

Nice Truck! I'm I know this is an old thread, but I relate, as I'll be doing the same in a year.

I love our '06 RR HSE 4.4 Jag, 100k miles (low!) and so does my daughter... killer reliability so far, great fun in our back hills here in Simi Valley, and safe.

Yes very nice rig. I will be in the same boat in a couple of years and feel the same as to the safety aspect. My daughter has said her primary concern is that there is not a lot of blind spots in whatever she gets. I think its funny that a kid is thinking along those lines.

I have rented cars when going to other cities and some of them do have blind spots. Prius comes to mind as a vehicle I would not rent again or own.
Your daughter is a wise person.

Yes I agree, there are quite a few. My wife drives a infiniti JX35 and it has some as well. I think its amazing she has that train of though. Thanks
