All the sudden today the car alarm in my 2006 LR3 goes off in the driveway. First, I scream at the kids. They are both doing homework. Next I case the house and look outside at the truck. No one. I get in put the key in the ignition, it stops. Remove key and "Key In Ignition" message and bell tone, like I left the key in the ignition. No key. Its a problem as the car wants the lights on. If I lock the car the alarm goes off.

Does anyone know a "Hard Reset" method for the computer?

I disconnected the battery....no luck.

Ideas?
