Default Leak dilemma! help

Ok..My 2006 LR3 has soaked carpets on both sides! I just got the car and unfortunately did not know to check nor noticed...
Anyway its my problem now:

I cleared the A/C hoses on each side on transmis.
when I checked the drain hose from the sunroof while its raining on the drivers side foot wall pillar, it was disconnected/rotten at the end BUT completely dry, No water is draining out of it...WHERE is this water in the carpet coming from ?????
The only other thing I can think of is (by p.o.) wheel wells have been cut open at the bottom towards the foot wall to make room for 22s wheels ...I wonder if water might come up from there while driving in wet/raining conditions....but the water on the carpets its clean...??? help?

If you want to check whether it's your sunroof drain tubes, then just open the sunroof and take a couple of cups of water and slowly pour the water in the "tray" around the edge of the sunroof opening. There should be a number of holes (at least 4, but I don't remember how many) that the water drains through. You should immediately see the water coming out in various spots underneath the car. Make sure you move the cups around as you're pouring... if it all goes down one hole, then you're only testing one drain tube. After you've poured a good amount of water down all of the holes, move down and check your carpet!!

If the drains are clogged the tray overflows and runs down the a pillars and soaks the floors, there are airbags in the a pillar so this is bad !!

Plus that tray fills and you go to drive from a stop it pours down on the dash and console shorting all the controls, happened to me

Go in the tech section clear the drains

Get them hooked back up to drain outside

If u pull carpet and don't see outside then waters not coming in from wheels

Do u have a garage or carport to work under? This helps

Default Best way to clear the sunroof drain holes?

I pushed compressed air from the sunroof holes and it seemed to have cleared drivers side but not the pass side ...is there a better way? like pouring a soap/cleaning solution to really clean those drain hoses???
Thanks

Drop headliner part way so you can unplug the 4 hoses from the sunroof and blow the out then run water in them somehow to be sure it flows out, I irc I even put water in then some air so the water forces out the crud

yes do water and air. Hydraulic pressure better than air pressure alone

Just a couple quick questions on this drain leaking issue...

Is there a fix for this ie: new tubes installed, etc?

Is this only an issue when sunroof is open when raining or are these drains needed even if sunroof is never used?

Thanx...

Iirc unscrew all the crap at front of roof and grab handles over doors, pull the headliner gaskets and you can drop enough to unplug the hoses, do all 4 hoses if your in there

If you do this and still get water, the nipple at kick panel is torn, a pillars leaking, windshield is leaking or something with the snorkel mounting
