Lr3 egr coolant tubes

Doing the thermostat housing and one of the egr nipples. Broke off looks like it was already cracked, i cant see 300 for a new valve

Has anyone attempted to drill tap and thread in a brass nipple to fix this?

Just did that on the 07 LR3 a couple months ago. The 06 looks good for now. I did the brass T conversion on both earlier this summer

Part came so i put her back together in pouring rain , my ass is frozen lol

Now trying to get the dam thing to bleed

TOM R 11-07-2017 06:54 PM

Who knows be s t way to bleed, i think there is air even though all hoses are hot and i have heat and the guage is in middle

I see bubbles going into the bottle and no fluid pouring from the t when i take off the cap

ArmyRover 11-07-2017 07:00 PM

I just filled everything the best I could than used the bleeder T cap on mine
