Default Lr3 egr coolant tubes

Doing the thermostat housing and one of the egr nipples. Broke off looks like it was already cracked, i cant see 300 for a new valve

Has anyone attempted to drill tap and thread in a brass nipple to fix this?

Had to order one even used is $100 ouch, loking at it looks like it was cracked and i brushed against it just right and it fell off

This job is not thst bad with the fan removed

So cleaned throttle body and adapter put on new belts and cleaned maf and everything else i could now stuck apart waiting on new part

That is a bit salty. Did you check with Abran on a used one or the boys at Lucky8 for a price on a new one?

I called
L8 300 plus shipping

Pm abran but cant wait need car together , used off ebay $99 shipped


I tried to seperate mine and ended up popping off th e electronic motor so f it up even worse , im not happy right now, car may be down for a week now for a couple hour job

Btw my thermostat tree looks like it was leaking at every seal fo r quite a while there was coolant sludge

Just did that on the 07 LR3 a couple months ago. The 06 looks good for now. I did the brass T conversion on both earlier this summer

Part came so i put her back together in pouring rain , my *** is frozen lol

Now trying to get the dam thing to bleed

Who knows be s t way to bleed, i think there is air even though all hoses are hot and i have heat and the guage is in middle

I see bubbles going into the bottle and no fluid pouring from the t when i take off the cap

I just filled everything the best I could than used the bleeder T cap on mine
