I've got a 2005 that I need to tow and the key is MIA. So... It doesn't drive, or shift, meaning it won't go into neutral for the truck. I've seen some hacks for the LR4 and D2. But haven't found any threads with a way to manually put the truck into neutral. Anyone have a hack?

 

4 wheel dollies and a flat-bed?

 

There is a manual shift release in the console near the shifter

 

Pry off the plastic square cover just behind the parking brake activator byb the gear lever. Find the level inside behind towards the rear of the lever, push up on it and at the same time shift from park.
