Default Mosquito Pass, near Leadville, CO

Anyone travel this road on their unmodded LR3? I might be too late in the season to try this road, but if I do, will my LR3 make it?

Your LR3 would kill it no problem. Just get conditions as you dont want to be up there with snow. Beautiful run.

About 6 miles in from Leadville, we encountered snow. We tried to wedge ourselves more to the right, but the the angle didn't allow for much gain, and we slipped on the pack. After backing down the road about 30 yards, we used a dry spot and did a 15-point turn to get us pointed back down the mountain. Really bummed that I missed the pass this year, but steep angles on slippery road, and an impressive drop-off were not worth pushing it.
