1. How many quarts of oil are needed in the 4.4L?
2. Is Synthetic required?
3. How hard are oil changes (filter location mainly)
4. Anything else I should know?

8 L's, I would use Synthetic, 3 not sure, 4-welcome to the club

On the oil change, here's a nice guide:

Capacity is 8 quarts. Recommended viscosity is 5w-30. I like Mobil 1 synthetic and it can be had at Wal Mart for $21/5 qts.

Also, what diffs do we have? And what is the max tire rating for them?

They're all the same unless you have the HD package which has an electronic rear locker. No idea of the max tire size, but the proper lube can be found here:

I got a message on it that says "Over Speed Warning"...what can I do to get rid of it, or reprogram it to a higher speed?

TIA...

I fixed it...getting great MPG...16.6. Not bad bad for a V8 4x4...

drive faster and ignore it . . . or take the bugger off-road and you will be much more happy!
