Default Part Manufacturers

It's Thursday and I have to replace my Wheel Hub and Bearings on my 2007 LR3. I probably have to do tie rods again as well. Usually I buy everything I can from British Atlantic, but lately I've seen more and more advertised cheaper on Amazon. For example Amazon says it has a Febest Wheel hub bearing assembly for $74 USD, where BA has it for $239.

Anyone used Febest Wheel hub bearing to replace the LR?

I got my Timken wheel bearing from partsgeek.com and I think it was about $85. Timken are the OEM manufacturer for LR wheel bearings.

I've never used Febest, but I have used(and declined using) a few different aftermarket options.

Timken is the same as the factory part, just without the LR logo on it. FEQ ones seem to be made very poorly, and the hub itself is different(refused to put this on a vehicle, as a $15 dollar savings is not worth my reputation). There was one other brand that I have used but can't recall currently, that seemed to be fine, and was physically the same as oem, as far as dimensions go, but I believe it was the same price as the Timken.

Get a new axle nut along with the hub.

It might have been, it was a while ago, and I haven't used anything but timken or oem in several months.

Received Febest Hub Bearing Assembly Front LH Or RH LR014147 for my LR3 2007. NICE PART, machining looks first rate (comparing it to the same part from British Atlantic). Came in a nice box with a plastic container holding the part. I'll order more Febest parts.

Actually put in a order for Tie rods, Tie rod ends half the price of BA (from Amazon).
