Replacing Air suspension L319
Hello guys,
First of all i'm new to this forums (If i had known, would of registered long ago) and please have patience with me.
I'm having an issue to find a suspension that will actually work for my L319, the carparts printed on the part is nowhere to be found online new (aftermarket) because of the price. I was told not to buy used therefor i'm decided to go for new.
So the numbers i'm visualizing are 22241484 for the airbag and 22214641 for the actual metal piece but what would be the OEM number to lookup for the part? Does anybody knows? Here's a picture of the parts.
I tried looking them up but cannot find a perfect fit. Also if i had to go with other numbers what would be consequences (Having one side higher) or not fit at all? Maybe changing them 4?

Those are Dephi part numbers and can be found using that.
The LR part numbers, well there are lots: LR016414, LR016415, LR016416, LR018398, LR032646, LR034282, LR034283, LR034284, LR041108, LR058022, RNB000855, RNB000856, RNB000857, RNB000858, RNB501180, RNB501250, RNB501460, RNB501470, RNB501480, RNB501580, RNB501590, RNB501600, RNB501610, RNB501620
Front left and right are interchangeable. You buy them as a whole unit unless you have some special tools and press. Aftermarket fronts are about $250 each. Rears about $350 each. Prices vary by brand. OEM will be substantially more.

Ok, i only need to replace one and my mechanic said that i must find the same old one i had but it's near impossible to find it new therefor i found the one i previously shared. So i was also told to be careful cause there could be longer suspension or shorter making the vehicle look higher or lower where i placed it.
So the one i shared would be ok to use as brand new and keeping my 3 old ones at the same time? i wouldn't look higher or lower on any ends?

You really should always replace in pairs. Being that one is worn and one is new you may get some odd body play or roll. Not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind. But there are no shorter/longer ones from factory so the only way to get longer or shorter struts would be with coils.
Basically any absorber you can find new for an LR3 or LR4 will work just fine as they are all the same dimensions. Plenty of options out there even if you simply search for "Rover LR3 strut" or shock, etc.
Do you trust your mechanics option? You can always create a new thread about your issues to see if they match what they say. EAS is complex system at first glance but really its not, so some mechanics that are not familiar tend to improperly diagnose issues.
