Hey Guys, im trying to find where the flasher relay is on the LR3. Im going to be installing some LED bulbs and want to just replace the stock flasher relay with an LED compatible one so i dont need to deal with load resistors on the bulbs.

 

Section 417 (Exterior Lighting) Page 170 shows the relay as an FET-Indicator switch (transistor type relay) that is a built in part of the Central Junction Box behind the glove compartment.

I have never tried the LED thing but I am sure other know how to trick into thinking it is a bulb. But it seems as if the resistor idea may be your best bet.
