Rose joints. There are no ball joints in the rear, just an upper and lower rose joint on each side. If they squeak, they are due for replacement. BUT they can be a chore to do as they are pressed into the knuckle. So what some do, in order to at least buy some time, is get a syringe and inject warm oil into them. Used oil is perfectly fine. Squirt in, clean the hole and put a small bad os sealant over the hole you created. You want to do both sides of the joint of you can but if you do one side the oil will work its way around.

edit: I will add that its possible its the rear sway bar links or even the rear sway bar bushings if they have never been replaced. But its usually what I mentioned above, especially if you hear creaking when going form normal height to access.

Hi Thank you.
I put a big heavy bag of Newspapers in the back(we use then to ship glass) and I don't hear the squeaking back there when driving now ??
Does that help in guessing any closer ?
I'm going to have the rear Air Struts changed after a long good service of 180,000 miles as the mechanic said those
look like they are the next thing to go when we last saw him.We have seen the Suspension Warning Light go on dash twice
in the last month..I don't want to be disabled at a bad time. Ill ask him to look down there at Rose Joints..also
rear sway bar links/rear sway bar bushings.
Are those "Rose Joint Bushings like the front bushings in Front Control arms ??
Where it makes more sense to change arm instead of trying to get out and push in bushings ?
Thsank you

Unless you have a good press, replacement knuckles are the way to go
