Suspension Fault 06 LR3

Suspension Fault 06 LR3
I just replaced my Ball joints and rack and pinion, when I got it back my suspension was working but it was throwing it in default mode and my suspension would go down super low. Took it to get Realign and when I got it back it was stuck on off road mode. Will not lower, where the switch is, the lights are off. Any advice

After an alignment, you need to do a steering angle sensor recalibration. One time I needed an alignment to center the steering wheel when the wheels were straight ahead. Doing a steering sensor calibration afterwards took care of the suspension faults I had been getting.
I've done it with a scantool (GAP tool in my case), but there may be a way to do it without, I'm not sure. Bad calibration will throw suspension faults. You might start there.

Steering calibration is only needed if the steering wheel was removed to recenter it or somehow the calibration was missing. But the wheel should never been removed to adjust for alignment issues on an LR3 or any car, if do then the alignment shop is ran by complete idiots.
We need codes, not guesses.

hmm, sounds like it may have been the alignment itself that fixed the suspension errors then in my case and not the calibration. I did do it in the parking lot of the alignment shop immediately after they drove it off the rack. Errors were gone afterwards - at least for that round of Rover trouble lol.
But yeah, what Dakota said, need the codes to really help.
