How did you happen to find your reservoir leak?

While on the lift, my buddy thought he could hear an air leak... sure enough, the front of the air tank was rusting and a little poking around opened up the hole further. The location of the tank means it gets blasted by the front drivers tire. If it looks like you have any surface rust on your tank, get a pick and go explorin'

I’ve got a couple rust free tanks if anyone needs one.

I checked the galley pressure today, and got the following:
Started engine, at normal height: 1650 psi
Toggled to off-road height: quick drop to very low psi, but returned fairly quickly to 1350 psi and then slowly climbed to 1400 psi.
Turned off engine: over the next 90 seconds, the pressure dropped to 700 psi, before I stopped monitoring

Are these pressures and pressure changes normal?

Also, I took a look at the pressure canister and did find some flaking rust at both ends (see photos), but when I generously soaped them, I didn't see any bubbling when the compressor was active.
