Default Suspension Fault

I posted on May 17 (see above). I solved the problem by reseating the fuse. The fuse is located under the hood, next to the battery. I know that sounds too simple but the problem has gone away and not returned since then.

I thought it may be related to the battery, so I replaced the battery (but having problems there as well.)

Any suggestions are appreciated before I head to the dealer.

Thanks...
Mine did the same thing. Apparently they have had multiple problems (known) with the compressors failing. Take it into your dealership and they will replace it (pray that its under warranty)

Default suspension faults issues

my 06 LR3 V8 SE compressor went out completely and I had it replaced, $1100! all was well put on a set of lift rods and went off roading, suspension fault. Came home removed the rods, took it to the shop had codes run and a recalibration of ride height. Codes said compressor running hot. Funny thing, it only happens after I go off roading, it work fine on the trail, but when I get off the trail, bam...suspension fault. Then a few hours later, all is well. Happens with and without rods.

Air dryer?

Yup -- sounds like it... hold your hand over your nose & mouth and see how well you breath.

Was the compressor a Hitachi compressor? Or what it an AMK?

If it's an AMK, it had to have the software updated after replacement, or the compressor will fail again, sooner than it should.

If it's a Hitachi it's possible it also needs an update. There is a company in the UK that sells a new piston ring and rebuild kit for the hitachi. If the piston isn't sealing well, the compressor might get hot trying to build pressure. Do you have a scan tool that can read the pressures while the compressor is running?

new upgraded AMK, software updated as well, new dryer also. code says running too long. no leaks at air bags or elsewhere in the system. LR tech is stumped...

shop didn't replace the relay. Went to Landrover dealer in Centerville, UT and bought one for 19$, replaced it in the parking lot. Went wheeling the next day in all modes, no issues on the trail or when I got home as was usual. Problem fixed. Thanks
