Default Thoughts on NGK RUTHENIUM Spark plugs

Hello All,
In the process of changing spark plugs and came across Ruthenium plugs - NGK 95839. Rockauto sells them for $8 per piece. Has anyone used these on their 4.4 V8? I currently have nothing wrong with the Iridium's I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with these?

Ya its kind of new to me as well. Not many reviews on them. But people who used them seem to notice an improvement. But then again anyone would if the current plugs aren't in optimal condition lol.

Any improvement is likely just because they are replacing old plugs. I bought these back in February of 2019. I only bought them for additional longevity over stock spec'd plugs, probably replace after 130,000 miles instead of 100,000 miles.

I've never heard of these either and I work for Summit Racing. I deal with new stuff daily and old parts as well. I would go to NGK website and put your LR3 in the plug match. I would bet those do not come up. Stick with your NGK OEM you don't want to give it reasons for a misfire.

Shocked you never heard of these, no pun intended, but it is a new tech that was advertised a lot by NGK when it first debuted.

Lol I'm shocked too! Well dam that's new because I just was there 2 weeks ago and I got the laser cut iridium. You could always try it out and see how it runs. It's within the manufacturer heat range. We have these listed at $12.99 but not available till 07/21. Let us know if you choose these and how it runs.
