tires & wheels - feedback please
I am having 20'' wheels put on my 2008 LR3 SE v8 Rover. These are the wheels I am having put on:

Here is the thing I REALLY would love some feedback on....
I am having Hancook Ventus ST RH 06 295/45/20's put on. (link below) - I have heard A LOT of mixed information about that size tire going on the vehicle ranging from multiple possible issues that could arise to... everything will be fine with those tires going on my vehicle.

Could I please get some feedback from you all ?
THANK YOU!

we got the wheels that have 5 lugs - same style but 5 lugs. i saw the car with the rims on a while ago but they had a different tire on that i am changing to go with the 295/45's. the tire size is my main concern because i have heard feedback saying it could scrub, or cause abs issues or suspension issues and other problems. all of which sounded alarming.

that's part of the reason i am putting the 295/45's on it. that is what the guys at the tire place are recommending based on the weight of the vehicle and cost. those are the two main factors they put into their recommendation, load and price. land rover was recommending 255/50's but those were around $280 a tire !!!

ok - this is interesting because they are now on my vehicle with the new tires. we drove it last night from the tire place to dinner and back. everything seems to be fine.
now i am really confused.
am i just over complicating this or what?
the wheels and tires are on and it drives fine. when i drove it after pick up, i made several turns in culdesacs with the wheels all the way turned to check for scrubbing and noted no issue.
what problems could possibly arise due to these wheels being on the vehicle and why would a reputable tire company recommend those wheels if they didn't fit?
i just want piece of mind that i do not have a big potential issue with having these wheels on my vehicle.
thank you!

So the wheels match for a lug pattern, but they don't offer a center bore that matches a LR3. So most likely they are hub centric wheels and that is why the manufacturer doesn't list the LR3 as fitting. They have one that is larger. So it's possible they used concentric rings to adapt the rims or they just put them on and tightened the lugs and off you went.
