Default Transmission control module on an LR3

Hello
I have been researching but can't find any solid information on where is the transmission control module on an LR3 and don't mean the transfer case control module behind the battery i already changed that. Some people on the internet say its under the drivers seat and others say its on the tranny. I have an error code U0101-87 and i need to check my TCM. Any solid information would be aprecciated.

Thanks

According to Mitchell 1 DIY's wiring diagram, the ground for the TCM at the Left A Pillar. I believe that is behind the driver's side front inner fender. I know there's a ground post or two in there. That might be a good place to start troubleshooting.

A leaking Mechatronic sleeve can allegedly cause issues. Is that sleeve new, old or leaking? Its the main connector to the transmission. A part very often replaced with an updated design.

Hi guys,

I've just seen this post and I have a follow up question. My 2008 Disco 3 has just "died". It doesn't start and mechanics say it is the Transmission Control Module (TCM) that needs to be replaced. They ask for 8,000 bucks which is a lot of money so I am trying to find that part elsewhere. Does anybody know what is the serial number OEM of that part?

Thank you so much
BR
Cesar
