Oh man, I've had the Angel and Devil on each shoulder - "It cant be THAT bad to finish the drive, stop overthinking it!" immediately followed by "It's right by the gas tank too, theres a reason for it you idiot, you'll explode!"

Probably also a sign I've been on the road too much for one day hahaha. Thanks for backing up what my gut told me but my brain tricked me outta believing

Welp, used my hanger engineering held and I finished off the remaining 800 miles without an issue!

That said, I need to replace it and I'm having an embarrassingly difficult time doing any kind of power google searching to find this part for sale, the closest thing I found was an eBay listing from Lithuania that's for an LR4 but is in the - does this part have another name or way to pin down a replacement??? Sort of surprised it hasn't been an easy find.

Default Upper and lower control arms ,dash, rust

Coverlay makes a nice premolded reeplacment dashboard
upper control arms purchase OE replacements and new hardware
let a shop do the lowers and you will need an alignment after lowers have been replaced.
you can do the uppers use a sawsall to cut off the bolts
and make sure you lock the bushings down at normal ride height about 18.5 inches to center hub
its a BB job also torx the new bolts
rust clean off loose rustI undercoated mine with WoolWax.I purchased the 4 1 qt containers and their spray gun It went on beautifully Do the undercoat last as it stay wet never completely dries and can get messy working after spraying
flush all diffs and refill especially the rear diff
Good luck

I read that Linoguard was a great product. Has anyone been able to purchase in the US or have shipped reasonably to the US?
