I have a 2005 LR3 with 79k miles on it. Stuff is just wearing out. Just had to have the sunroof operating tracks replaced due to cracking, plus all bushings have been replaced in suspension. Otherwise, it runs great.

Just had to have all bushings all around replace again, and the lift for the spare tire, the air pump muffler and both rear lower control arms due to excessive wear of the bushings.

Well, the extended warranty picked up about $3k of dealer cost. That is about 20% less than the retail repair price. I would highly recommend that if you determine the bushings are going bad, and that is around 50k miles or so, get the replace. I had to replace the two lower control arms in the rear, as the replacement bushings would not go back into the old control arms due to wear and corrosion. Extended warranty DID NOT cover the control arms, since it doesn't cover corrosion.
