I have the opportunity to buy some 20 inch wheels off a 2018 RRS, they have 255/55R20 which is virtually the same as the 255/60R19s on my 2011 LR4. My question is, has anyone put these wheels on an LR4? Does the offset cause any problems? How do they look? Also, will I be able to use my LR4 lug nuts?

 

Offsets do affect handling. However many seem content with so called “improvements.

In particular, the scrub angle has an effect on handling and this is exemplified in adverse conditions. Of course if the vehicle is used as a mall crawler, I don’t suppose it matters.

I find it interesting you have a desire to go to a lower profile tire…. as I am quite the opposite. I find the 19s I have too low as it is…

I agree on the wheel size, they don’t ride as well but they look great and cost $350 with nearly new tires. I have noticed no difference in handling between the two and the offsets look factory.

 

20s def fit as they made oem 20s for the LR4. the offsets are the question as you can see i went through this here:

different offsets are not necessarily a deal killer depending on magnitude.
