Default 2015 LR4 fuel problems

My 2015 LR4 has been getting worse and worse for dying. It will run great, then stall and not start again. It is a fuel problem. Each time it stalls the low fuel pressure code gets thrown. A new fuel pump and fuel pump driver module have been installed- Same problem occurs. Changed out the crank position sensor…. Same problem. Fuel pump relay was changed , still the same problem. When the local shop pushes it into a bay for testing and connects the diagnostic tools it will start again. Not sure if it’s a bad ground? Or a sensor. All help appreciated

You didn't mention the low pressure fuel sensor being changed. I would try that.

Too true.

Isn't it interesting that these sensors are supposed to aid us in a component fault... yet look at the number of times the sensor itself needs to be changed.
Go figure.

Where is that sensor located? In the tank? Or on the fuel rail.

It external to the tank right at the front of the fuel tank. It is behind a heat shield and bolted to a bracket that is bolted to the transfer case support cross member

The new pressure sensor has been installed. I’ll keep you updated if that forces the problem.

I could not find a sensor located in the tank, just the one on the fuel rail on the passenger side.

If you changed the one on the fuel rail then you changed the high pressure fuel sensor, not the low. If this doesn't fix it post what codes you have.

It’s a 2015 LR4….. any chance you can help out with a part number or a diagram for the location? I couldn’t find anything on the fuel tank.

It is at the front of the fuel tank. You access it by taking a heat shield off that is on the front side of the cross member. Its to the right side of the transfer case mount.
