Discovery 4 crank issue
Hi everyone, I’m interested in a 2010 3.0 HSE with what appears to be knackered crank bearings.....seems to be the common issue these engines have. Is it worth buying to recon the bottom end and if so, how much am I looking at for a crank regrind, bearing shell kit, seals, new oil pump (which I understand is a JLR technical bulletin relating to this issue?) etc. I’ve rebuilt engines before so happy to DIY unless an Indie labour price makes that option more attractive.
