So I went and test-drove a 2013 HSE last night. This would be my first LR but I grew up with maintenance-intensive vehicles so the potential maintenance doesn't scare me. Plus, these things are reliable..right? The vehicle in question had 68k miles and still has an extended warranty good till mid next year. It drove great and felt like a big heavy vault(which it is). It had a slight shimmy at highway speeds(55-65mph) so might need tires balanced and/or an alignment. Already know about the horrendous gas mileage but I want the jag v8 and not the v6, and 2013 is the last year. Power was more than adequate. Anyway, I liked it a lot. I've read through the pre-purchase tips and have searched around - anything else to look for? Looking forward to potentially joining the LR ranks soon!!
