Pesky P0496 keeps coming back
 

Specifically:

PCM-Engine Petrol

P0496-00 (E8) Evaporative emission system high purge flow

Dealer replaced the purge / solenoid valve last spring. Code stayed off for 3 months, I reset it and then it came back after 2 months. And now it seems to show up every other thank of fuel. It does not care if I use regular unleaded or premium, same results

I have pulled the LR brand valve, cleaned the hoses and plastic parts and reassembled 3 months ago.
I have replaced with another LR brand valve last month.
I just pulled it off and made sure all of the connectors were tight.

Tonight while clearing the codes, I decided to look at live values. Knowing that there are some things that can be read on the LR4 that cannot be read on the LR3, I took a chance and found a live value in the untested section.

I do not know if the times listed are within the limits or not, but I suspect a leak in the hose somewhere between the valve and the fuel tank or a second bad valve, but without knowing how long it should take to pressurize, I am just guessing.

Does anyone know the pressures or times that will make the computer happy?
