Took a few pictures and thought someone might like to see one of these on an LR4.
Note: My receiver hitch is newer style, Anti-wobble Can be tightened (just barely)wheel is mounted on the top holes but still sits a little low for me. I moved it up to the top bolt (1inch) after taking the photos

Observations:
I can now carry a spare without giving up a lot of interior space, on of a few options without buying a whole bumper
Easily removable/no permanent changes to vehicle; can be moved from vehicle to vehicle or sold easily
Solid construction, receiver hitch moves a little, but the carrier does not
Powder coating is good
Very nice closure clasp with safety pin
Nice options available. I have added FrontRunner table, cutting board, Rago Ultraplate and two quick fist sets for shovel and axe
Multifit plate allows you to mount many wheel bolt patterns
Stainless steel nuts and bolts for table mount
Room for a Rotopax can behind the spare
Tilt is nice
Can finally use my Trasharoo
It sits pretty low for off-roading, that’s mostly due to the LR3/4 hitch location
The tire Blocks half of the rear camera view
Safety pin is difficult to get to and you may skin a knuckle pulling it out
Only the top wheel stud can be fixed in position. The wheel must be lifted until the other bolts line up. They are not captive. You’ll need to hold the bolt heads frontman the rear, which is not easy with table mounted. Considered tack weld.
No grease fitting on the pivot
will need either m12x1.5 mag lug nuts or to drill for M14x1.5 bolt if you want to use LR lugnuts. M12 Lugnut washers are a bit small for the diameter of the hole
Table mount nuts are a pain to get a wrench on with the Rago Ultraplate
Limited mount options for the table without drilling
Price is premium, I bought used, an it was still expensive to me
License plate is partially obscured
To raise the spare one hole, I needed to remove the table and the plate, turned out to be an hour project to get to the bolt heads and reassemble
Spare is centered, would have preferred it higher and towards the passenger side

End result: it works, but I don’t love it on the LR4

 

Thanks for posting, and you are right it doesnt look right on Rover.
I was seriously considering this unit but will go with the Terrafirma instead, looks much better on the LR4

 

Everyone that I have met with the TerraFirma are really happy. Looks much better!

 

Terrafirma here, great unit but with everything they sell, their directions are off so plan to double-check before you drill holes, etc.
(I also have their hidden winch mount and rear ladder and EVERYTHING they sell needed mods or at the least double-checking and modifying the directions)
