hi - I'm looking at 2011 Land Rover Discover 4 models, for towing a horse and trailer that will need the full 3,500kg towing capacity. I had a Disco many moons ago (it was an M reg!!!), but lots of things have changed since then, so I wanted to check what the difference is between the models and if it makes any difference to the towing capability...I used to have a TD, so am inclined to go for that again, but there seem to be more SDs on the market...
Also, if I'm buying the model from that year, is there anything specific to watch out for?
