Default TransAmerica Trail difficultly on east coast

Does anyone have experience on the east coast side of the TAT? Planning on going and would like to know if the Continental Terrain A/T would be sufficient. The Yokohama Geolandar is a little more aggressive but not quite as good on-road from what I can tell.

Skimmed this video, as I don’t want to spoil the fun of knowing what I’ll see but to get an idea of what I’ll need. There were some washed out trails that were fairly rocky on the western most side.

I’ve seen the Land Rover sponsored video before it’s just edited down so short. I wish they had a long version of that one.

I’m planning on posting up the dates and locations to have a bit of an online support system in case anything goes wrong.
