Default Transmission Failure LR4

I wondered if anyone has experienced transmission failure and replacement on an LR4 (or other Land Rover model) occurring in first couple years?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 model but now see it had the transmission rebuilt and transfer case replaced at 2yrs old, under 55000K/34000Miles. Sounds crazy to me but want feedback. I see it work was done at LR dealer but no proof if it was done under warranty or not. I'd imagine it was.

What the heck makes that occur?? And once repaired (by the dealer) are there any long term drawbacks to this event?

Additionally, around the 64000KMS/40000Miles mark, when truck was 4 years old, shows the cooling system was checked and a coolant flange was replaced, then 5000Kms/3100Miles later they flushed and replaced differential and transfer case fluids. I am nervous to hear of any overheating issues as this leads to blown gaskets and/or engine failure if not attended to quickly or being forced to drive while leaking coolant

Is this reason to avoid buying this 8-9 year old truck? Carfax shows normal service records beyond those serious events in first years.
Avoid ? O no less of a concern as it was fixed regardless?

Interesting. I thought a dealer would replace, and not rebuild a transmission. And I am surprised that the transfer case was replaced so early. I wonder what was the complaint that led to this correction. But it is corrected, so I wouldn't worry.

As for changing the fluids, I for one am impressed that this was done. I do the same at shortened intervals myself.
And yes, checking all systems and correcting the worn part is sign of a responsible owner. If the engine had overheated, there would be other issues.

Thanks for your feedback Guy. I think it's also weird it was rebuilt.... I mean should be under warranty and if I was owner, I'd be pissed. Unless it was owners fault for extreme bad driving habits or excessive load put on truck. Oddly, no repairs show as report from 0 - 25,500kms/15800miles which I think is way too long for first oil change - hard to tell with Carfax reports, but does appear to have big gaps between oil changes. Hmmm rethinking this report. No commitment to buy yet tho.

Either way, transmission appears repaired. Thx

if it was a dealer repair , the transmission would have been replaced with aa rebuilt unit , no in house transmission repairs done by dealerships here in NAS market, if you can figure out where the repairs were done they should be able to look up history and at least tell you what was done
