I am parting out this 1995 Discovery I. I purchased it 4 years ago for its engine which is being repurposed for use in an MGB. The engine and related control bits are spoken for but the rest is available.

The good bits: The car was driven to its present location, so the drivetrain, radiator, and other motive parts are functional. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and shifted smoothly. The transfer case moved through the ranges without and noticeable problem and appeared to function as to be expected. The doors, windows glass and sunroofs are intact and operated as they should when the vehicle was parked. There are few if any dents in the sheet metal. The hood (bonnet) is in good shape except that there are significant areas where the clear coat has lifted. The stock wheels are all present and in reasonably good shape. The tires hold air but are otherwise not useable except to roll the vehicle about.

the bad: both the SRS and ABS lights were lit when I purchased the vehicle. The brakes operated well enough, so I did not investigate further. Same for the SRS light. I do not know what of these components are serviceable. The interior is shot. Seat frames are rusted through as well as the base of the “B” pillar. The dash and switch gear are intact and were functional when last driven.

I’m located in Central Illinois. I would prefer not to ship larger parts due to the cost. I am willing to meet and deliver larger parts to any interested parties within 200 miles.

I believe I still have the title for this, I am presently looking for it, but due to rust issues, it’s probably a non issue. Let me know what your interested in. I’m primarily just looking to find a home for the usable bits. Any bits missing from the photos such as the headlights, grill and 4th wheel are available, just not in the photos.
