02 Disco 2 Se7
For Sale2002 Land Rover Discovery
Description:
02 Disco 2 with 2" Lift in Bonatti Gray. No Accidents. Updated with Steel Wheels & Steel Bumpers. Cleaned up nice, no codes or check engine lights. Everything works. Head Gaskets done, Both front & rear steel bumpers sand blasted and powder coated, Sunroofs repaired, resealed & no leaks and operable. Headliner recovered in black cloth and really makes the interior POP more so than the original lighter color. The Black also will not show water staining if rain water were to make it to that point again by leaving the sunroof open, or sunroof seal deterioration which shouldn't happen for a very very long time. New Cat, & tail pipe. New gator covers on park brake handle & 4 Low shifter, New shuttle valve, and Left front wheel bearing with ABS sensor. Being this is a 20 Year old machine, all hubs, bushings, ball joints and shocks have been replaced at one point or another, as well as the Radiator & Water-pump. Dumped and pumped all new oil in Engine, Transmission, Differential case, and both front & rear differentials at 141000 miles (September 2021). I sanded and repainted wheel flares and also reattached all of the Mud flaps with Stainless hardware. I went through lighting, and all operable inside & out. The interior is in pretty good shape with some wear with no tears in the seats (some small holes & tears in non-wear areas. This is a Wisconsin Truck, so there is some rust on the frame, but its not terminal by any means and the rear quarters are still in decent shape. I'm in the process of cleaning the frame up and covering with POR15. I've driven this truck 2000 miles near everyday the last 2 months in the around town and highway, it rides solid, doesn't rattle and goes straight with an alignment & Steering Wheel clocked in August. I've had it up to about 80 MPH with no problems, 75MPH all day long. The truck does have the original 18" Wheels in the garage, the Steel wheels are 16" with 255/70/16 Wranglers. The Speedometer is actually more accurate with the 16's than the 18's. This has certainly been a fun truck, and gets compliments anytime I go out.
