Description:

Hi all. Wanting to sell my Discovery. I haven't had it too long, but am in deep with other a couple of other Rovers, an E38 750i, and an XJ6 Jag.

This is an entirely rust free Disco 1. It was in California until 2020, and then moved to Missouri. I don't believe it has ever seen snow until I took photos of it in the middle of a blizzard! I keep it in my climate controlled barn.

It has the higher miles but drives great. Engine runs smooth, no overheats, no knocking, stops as well as a D1 does, trans shifts buttery smooth. I won't be the first to say this without much proof, but I would think it has mostly highway mileage.

Anywho. I haven't done too too much to it, but I'll list it below

New u-joints
All fluids, synthetic. Mobil 1 in everything. Transmission, engine, differentials, and transfer case.
Transmission got a new seal and filter.
Engine got new valve cover gaskets, oil pan seal, spark plugs, coil wires, and a Mobil 1 filter.
Power steering fluid was replaced recently too, just some M1 ATF, as it already had ATF in it. Was prepared to use CHF11s like I did in my 2004 Disco.
Tires rebalanced, which didn't help my vibration. Ended up doing the u-joints. No more vibration...
I recently flushed the coolant too. Used 50/50 of the Zerex G48
I use premium gas in it.,price difference is negligible.
Brakes are at 70%, rotors have no lip.
One catalytic converter replaced.
No check engine light, or any other light besides Antilock
Newer tie rods, no play in steering. Steering wheel is straight, no play in any components.
Newer stabilizer end links. That fixed a clunk I had.
New-used brake booster
New master cylinder
Brake fluid flush

Now., not so good.
I wouldn't use the passenger windows. Front will slip off of the tracks 64.3% of the time.,rear will work occasionally.
Front sunroof is slow. Wouldn't use it. Rear works fine, they don't leak. I have cleaned the drains.
I fixed the antilock light, PITA, it broke again. Don't know what it is, haven't gotten a chance to check codes. Lasted 2 weeks. That's great ain't it.
California truck so the roof is faded. I painted the hood, can't tell it has been painted,, matches perfect. They did a good job for $300.
Land Rover
Seeps horsepower. Haven't had to add any between oil changes, doesn't spot the concrete. Don't have to use a pet pad like my 89' SWB.
Front seat leather is torn up, bad. Rear leather is very soft.
Headliner is beginning its journey south.
Still a Land Rover.

Anyway, if anyone wants to buy it. message me for my phone number to talk, I don't text well so no promises for Google to pick up my words in any understandable way.

I can send over any more photos too. I have to take interior photos in the morning. Slipped my mind today.

I do have a Carfax I can send.

Any transport questions I have some people that are reasonable.

COMES WITH A SET OF JUMP SEATS AND TRIM! Bought it off eBay for $500 a year ago for my 5 speed. Decided that I want the boot room.

I'm having troubles uploading photos. Reaches 90% and stops for hours. I googled to downsize and now they are 500kb and still same thing. Original 1.1mb?

2.2 Million Miles? I'm reading that correctly?
I would bet Land Rover would buy it back from you...

It is SOLD!

Traded in for a Discovery 2 plus cash. I'm happy.
