Description:

Engine with 140k miles on it was running great but suddenly overheated. I took it completely apart for storage and later rebuilding, but abandoned the plan since I sold my D2. Serious damage was not detectable, only one cylinder slightly steam cleaned. Every part is marked for location (cyl.) and parts were carefully packed into bubble wrap. 

I did oil changes every 3k miles, replaced radiator, thermostat, spark plugs, crankshaft sensor aso. So it happened despite excellent maintenance.
